- ZYN: Swedish Match USA, a Philip Morris International company.
- Sesh+: Sesh Products US Inc., based in Austin, Texas. On Nicokick, the brand says it is "not owned by Big Tobacco" and is "made in the US with globally sourced ingredients."
FDA status
- ZYN: 20 products authorized in January 2025 and 11 ZYN Ultra products on August 21, 2026, plus a modified risk order on June 30, 2026.
- Sesh+: no marketing order. On March 23, 2026, Sesh announced that its bundled PMTA covering 64 products had moved into FDA's substantive scientific review.
Sesh's progress is a real step, but it is not an authorization, and there's no public timeline for a decision.

Pouch design
This is where Sesh+ is different:
- ZYN: semi-dry classic pouch, or moist ZYN Ultra. Nicokick's ZYN guide says to let it sit without chewing.
- Sesh+: "moisture-enhanced pouches with MCT oil" and "a chewable gum-based material." The March 2026 release says Sesh holds a USPTO patent on the pouch technology.
We can't say how either feels, since we haven't tried them. The designs are simply different, so read Sesh's directions if you choose it.

What we couldn't verify
- How long a Sesh+ pouch lasts compared with ZYN's "up to one hour." Sesh doesn't publish a time.
- Which of Sesh's 64 PMTA products match the cans on sale now.
- Whether chewing a Sesh+ pouch changes how much nicotine you absorb. That's the brand's claim, and we haven't seen independent data on it.

- ZYN suits adult nicotine users who want the most choice in strength and flavor, or who prioritize FDA standing.
